Well, it is “Week 6” the second week in November and the past week as you know has been completely slow. The 80 degree days mean hardly any action in the afternoon and limited action in the morning. Luckily a couple of cold fronts are coming through with high pressure and about 20 degrees lower temperatures than what we are currently experiencing. Like we thought, scrape action has been dead, but we are getting more encounters with our hit-list bucks. Last week we covered trail camera tips for the rut and tree stand locations for the rut, this week should be just about the same as last week except that the action will be increasing. For this week we are going to show you how we put the November deer hunting tactics covered last week into use.
If you listened to last week’s show you should have your cameras in the right location and with the right settings, so for this week instead of going through tactics and strategy, here are the latest hunts that proved to be nearly successful based on the trail camera intel and video from last week.
The November deer hunting tactics were based on trail camera intel, but more importantly solid rut hunting strategies such as hunting near bedding areas, on funnels, and being cautious of food sources. In this episode of Trail Cameras Weekly, you will join Weston Schrank and Brett Moore as they pursue a buck they call “Dub Duece” and then briefly join Jeremy Flinn as he begins his hunt for a buck on his new small hunting property.
